Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest US-based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, has announced to open four new stores this month. These stores will be inaugurated at Evansville, Baxter, Santa Maria, and Warwick. The grand opening events will be held from February 10-25.

These new stores will feature apparel, footwear and sports equipment from the company’s own private brands such as CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Ethos. Customers can also get products of Nike, Under Armour and Adidas at these upcoming stores.

With the opening of these outlets, the retailer will take its store count to 721 in 47 states across the US. The new stores will create job opportunities for more than 200 people including full-time and part-time and temporary associates in these localities.

Dick’s, founded in 1948, has added more than 200 stores over the past five years. Its annual sales, meanwhile, increased from US $ 5.8 billion in 2012 to US $ 7.9 billion in 2016. Through the first three quarters of 2017, sales were up by 9 per cent.
