US-based fashion retailer L Brands has revealed its February sales report. During the reporting month, the fashion retailer, famous for its beachwear and lingerie products, noted net sales of US $ 853.9 million as compared to net sales of US $ 765.5 million in the corresponding period of last year.
Comparable sales for the reporting period concluded on March 3, this year, recorded a 3 per cent increase as compared to the same period of 2017.
The fashion company, which announced its financial results for fourth quarter and full year in the beginning of this month, reported net sales of US $ 4.823 billion.
Net sales of the fashion retail company for the full year remained US $ 12.632 billion as against US $ 12.574 billion during the same period ended January 28, 2017. Comparable sales for year under review plunged 3 per cent.
The lingerie label, which currently runs 3,080 speciality stores in the US, Canada, the UK and the Greater China, now expects its 2018 earnings per share (EPS) to be between US $ 2.95 and US $ 3.25, including EPS between US $ 0.15 and US $ 0.20 in the first quarter of 2018.
Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Pink, La Senza, Henri Bendel are major brands offered by the L Brands in the fashion retail business.
In February, Victoria’s Secret’s comparable sales increased by 2 per cent with online sales up by 37 per cent. However, Victoria’s Secret in-store comparable sales dropped 6 per cent. Meanwhile, Bath & Body Works’ comparable sales soared 13 per cent.
