Italian fashion retailer United Colors of Benetton (UCB) is set to drop its maiden activewear range in India. The country’s booming activewear market propelled the brand to foray into this segment.
UCB will introduce its first activewear collection within its ‘Undercolors’ portfolio of the brand in India. The yet to be launched range will include leggings, sports bras, hoodies, shorts, tees and body shorts for both men and women.
The new assortment has been priced between Rs. 699 and Rs. 1,899 and will be available at all leading UCB stores across India.

Benetton, with this latest range of activewear, has made a conscious approach to bring inspiration and innovation in the world of smart working out, truly building itself as a leisure brand,” said Sundeep Chugh, Managing Director & CEO, Benetton India.
Benetton’s activewear diffusion line incorporates performance fibres with characteristics like odour control, sweat-wicking (pulls out moisture from the body to the exterior of the garment from where it can evaporate more easily), improved stretchability for better fit; and enhanced breathability in the garments.
Additionally, the entire range is extremely lightweight and has been designed keeping in mind the thermal and functional aspects that are required to make an activewear comfortable yet chic.
UCB has also announced to launch two exclusive Undercolors stores; one each in Gurgaon and Kolkata by end of this year.
