Denimsandjeans India closes with 1,500-plus buyers India Show 2017 India Show concluded recently in Bengaluru. The international denim fair received an overwhelming response from both the exhibitor and visitors.

Over 1,500 buyers visited the two-day show to explore the niche products exhibited by around 30 companies from Brazil, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Turkey, Ethiopia, Spain, Italy and many others.

The major retailers and brands such as Marks & Spencer, H&M, GAP Inc., VF Corporation, Li & Fung, Zara, Landmark Group, Tesco, Aditya Birla Fashion, Arvind Brands, Raymond, and many others marked their presence at the show.

The teams of top-notch export houses including Gokaldas Exports, Orient Craft and many others also visited the show.

Srinivasa Raghavan K, AGM Exports, KG Fabriks Limited informed Apparel Resources, “Denimsandjeans was a wonderful platform for us to strengthen our network in the market. It provided a single platform to the global denim industry, be it manufacturers, buyers, suppliers or traders to showcase and explore innovations in denim.”

KG Fabriks showcased a wide range of products including shirting and bottoms at the show. The high footfall at the event met the company’s expectations as various serious buyers visited their booth.

“We received a number of serious inquiries at the fair so overall the fair was fruitful for our company,” told Srinivasa.

India is the second largest manufacturer of denim fabrics after China and the second biggest consumer of denim apparel globally. The country, with immense potential, is expected to grow at a fast pace in the coming years.

Seminars on latest innovations, trends, technologies, developments and sustainability in the denim industry were also held during the show.
