Texworld USA 2018 to introduce ‘custom-fit’ business tours

North America’s bi-annually held largest sourcing event for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialist, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals, Texworld USA, is returning to New York for its winter edition. The event, scheduled to take place from January 22-24, 2018, will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center.

This year around, the event will debut its “Explore the Floor” series, which features one-on-one tours led by seasoned industry experts where tour leaders will introduce attendees to exhibitors that best fit their business needs.

Tours will be led by Arthur Friedman, Senior Editor of Sourcing Journal, Jeff Wilson, Senior Business Development Manager of NSF International, and Debera Johnson, Executive Director of Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator.

Tradeshow organisers Messe Frankfurt has also announced the speaker line-up and seminar industry topics that will be covered at the event which include subjects that address sustainability, colour and fabric trends for Spring 2019, among others.

Further, discussions to be organised by StartUp Fashion and Lenzing will highlight the event’s “Seminar Series”, which will include Supply Chain Traceability & Transparency and the Importance of a Circular Economy for the Future of Fashion.

Texworld USA’s Art Directors Louis Gerin and Gregory Lamaud, who created its trend showcase, will present ‘Gourou de la Mode,” the infinite spring 2019 trends at the fair.
