India’s Birla Cellulose to open LAPF Studio in New York (US)

Birla Cellulose, the fashion fabric brand of Aditya Birla Group, is gearing up to open its LAPF (Liva Accredited Partner Forum) Design Studio in New York’s most premium location 7th Avenue, this month.

The company has established its maiden LAPF Studio in Noida (India) earlier in January this year. The studio is a hi-tech experience centre offering 2,000 samples of Viscose, Modal & Excel with detailed technical specifications.

The yet to be opened design studio in New York will also sever as a one-stop platform for the buyers who prefer variety and convenience in buying along with the feasibility to connect with over 450 value chain partners.

According to Birla Cellulose President (Marketing) Manohar Samuel, the opening of this LAPF Studio (in New York) will help the company connect better with the international fashion brands.

London and Hong Kong market are also in the list of international destinations that are expected to get a LAPF studio, Samuel said.

India’s knitwear manufacturing hub ‘Tirupur’ will get a LAPF Studio very soon. Other major garment manufacturing clusters like Jaipur and Bengaluru may also get LAPF Studio soon.
